Purpose

PURPOSE: The purpose of this site is “To Support Professional Ballet and other Dance Arts among the Public, the Dance Community and interested Supporting Institutions and Entities”.

We are duly proud of The Cleveland Orchestra, the greatest Orchestra in the United States if not the world.  The Cleveland Museum of Art, one of the world’s most distinguished and  comprehensive art museums and a principal civic and cultural institution as well as The Cleveland Play House, America’s first permanently established professional theatre company.  Playhouse Square is the country’s largest performing arts center outside of New York, attracting over one million guests per year to more than 1,000 annual events.

Other institutions of the highest caliber include The Cleveland Opera, Cleveland Museum of Natural History, Museum of Contemporary Art Cleveland, Children’s Museum of Cleveland, Cain Park, Cleveland Cultural Gardens, Cleveland Botanical Gardens, The Cleveland Music Settlement and the Western Reserve Historical Society and Crawford Auto-Aviation Museum.

Professional Ballet will complete this impressive list of artistic excellence and accomplishment.

  2. What a dream! I definately miss our own resident ballet company! When I moved to Cleveland (in the prvious century) we still had a great company! I was really sad when they left.
